The ornament is colored with copics and Smooch. Drops of silver are Liquid Pearls. Thats it for tonight, but I have been working on lots of stuff, some I can share soon, some not for a while. Thanks for visiting! -Cyndi

Good morning! Can I tell you how sick I am of living in a sick house? Urgh! I thought we were all done then my hubby started it all back over, then my oldest daughter, now My youngest was home yesterday and today now so I can't even go to work. I am running out of Lysol.
Anywho, I have a couple of Unity cards for you today. We got the Store only kits in from Unity at Enchanted Cottage and got to make a few samples! The first I made with my Favorite image from the August kit...the ferris wheel. I paired it with fun summery paper by My Minds Eye (Breaking Free collection). The image was stamped, colored with copics, then airbrushed with my Copic 180ABS while still in the Spellbinders die to add a touch of a white border. I used a really light W2 to do the airbrushing so itas very subtle. The die is Labels 4, also used were Double end ribbon tags and Circle Nestabilties (all 3 from Spellbinders). The star is cut from matching pattern paper and then I did some freehand doodling.
This card is made with images from the same set. I used the Strawberry and the sweetness sentiment is stamped into the label which is all a part of the strawberry stamp image. Make sense?? Papers are from Sandy Lion, the border punch is by Martha Stewart. Nothing fancy, but I think it turned out kinda pretty. OK, thats it for now. I have been working on lots of scrapping lately before I take a break and get back to cards and design work.
Thanks for stopping in! Have a great Thursday and stay healthy! -Cyndi

I wanted to start the day off with an end of summer kind of card, but I have posted all that I made, so you guys are getting an early touch of Halloween instead.
This is Witchy Bella, from Stamping Bella. I made this card for a sample for Enchanted Cottage. Papers are from Heidi Grace. The sentiment and spiderweb corners were stamped with the Unity set "Trick or Treat Peeps".
Thats it for you today...I hope to start having regular stamping time again tomorrow! Thereat of the day I need to catch up on errands and housework :( Thanks for dropping by!

Where, oh where have I been? Oh, just busy with kids and such. sorry.
Here's a card I made for work last week. We'll soon be carrying Unity stamps! This is Randy Reindeer...he used to be in a kit, now he's available as a single :)
I used papers from scenic Route and Core'dinations cardstock. The "Happy Holidays" sentiment is also a Unity stamp, from Birds of a feather set.
On my final sample at work I tied some gold jingle bells to the bow and it was way cuter! Bells on the collar are highlighted with new Buttermilk Spica pen.
More tomorrow. Sorry to be so scarce lately. -Cyndi

This is just a quickie post this morning, as you are reading this I am busy at work...hopefully stamping! Have a great day and I'll have more for you tomorrow!
-Cyndi

Its Wednesday which means its time for the Unity Addicts challenge which I have been REALLY bad with not doing lately. So, when Maria emailed and asked if I wanted to do this weeks challenge..I thought, sure! Why not??
So, my challenge for the week is a color challenge. I wanted to use this fun paper from sassafras Lass so I picked turquoise, orange, pink and brown...very retro!
I used the adorable mushroom from the Unity KOM Feb kit that I borrowed from my friend Heather. Its colored with copics, and I pulled out my airbrush system (which you can see if you click on the image to get a closeup). The background cs is Bazzill bling...fun and shimmery!
So, why not pull out your Unity stamps and join us this week? You can see the challenge details HERE at Splitcoast Stampers in the Unity forum. Thanks for blurfing by today! Happy hump day! -Cyndi
Supplies:

Paper: pp by Sassafras Lass; chocloate, white cs (PTI); turquoise (Bazzill)

I have 2 cards for you this morning...another for the Whiff of Joy challenge from last week, and todays Unity addicts challenge.
I loved Katharina's sketch last week and wanted to make another card with it before it got lost on my desk :) I started this one days ago, but it still needed something...so a couple of extra layers and doodads this morning and its ready!
The adorable donkey is one of the Party Animals line from Whiff of Joy, this is Michelle celebrating Donkey. She is just so happy! I cut the bg layer from MaMBI pattern paper using a Technique Tuesday tile for the pattern...tracing and then cut out. The main panel and layers are all done with my circle nestabilites. Michelle is colored in with copics, then highlighted with my spica glitter pens.
Supplies: Stamps: Michelle celebrating Donkey, Party sentiments (Whiff of Joy) Paper: pp (MaMBI); white cs (PTI); Taken with Teal cs (SU!) Ink: Memento Cocoa (Tsukineko); Crystal Blue (CTMH) Supplies: Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders); Tile shape (Technique Tuesday); circle ice rhinestone brads (SU!); ribbon (Michael's); markers (copic); glitter pens (Spica); key tag punch (SU!); sponge dauber
And here is my card for the UNity addicts challenge. I am not totally happy with it...a bit too simple. But the challenge was to use red, pink, blue, and yellow and a theme of Valentine's day.
Yellow is always hard for me, so I chose a pp I like from my Urban Prairie Basic Grey pad...lots of yellow and pink and blue. I added some Rose Red mats for the red...even though it looks more pink I think, its not cheating if the name contains red, right??!
Check to the right of my sidebar for the list of other Unity addicts and go look for more eye candy there!
Happy hump day:) Thanks for visiting, please say hi! -Cyndi
Supplies:
Stamps: KOM (Unity)

I have 3 cards for you today...all Unity! Its time again to start up the weekly Wednesday Unity Addicts Challenge! This weeks challenge issuer was Kim and here is what she came up with:
A SLIM challenge: S.ometimes L.ess I.s M.ore ....get it?? OK, well thats a challenge for me...thus why I have mutiple cards for today. One or 2 layers and one stamp (& greeting) & one embellishment.....aaargh!!!
So...here you go...the mini Giggle Grove trees from a Kit of the Month...paired with some new Prima paper. (I did sneak a few extra layers in...but no extra besides the main panel)
Next is my card for Amber's Unity sketch #8...and also this weeks color challenge at SCS...Garden Green (yuck), Brilliant Blue (ok) and Pumpkin (love that one).
So I pulled out some of last years SU! DSP and cheated a bit. The pattern is actually Wasabi dots...but close enough. I did use real Garden green for the mat. I actually like the way it turned out!
Lastly...a real color challenge for me...not really a challenge...but I had gotten a pad of paper and wanted to use it...but the colors turn out so blah for me. Oh well...still kinds pretty, just not my style. This is more Unity though...Floral Fantastical, and last weeks sketch challenge.
SO, hop over to my sidebar to see the links to more Unity addicts and go check out their amazing eye candy! Want to play with us? The challenge can be found HERE.
Thanks for stopping in!

I promised you more layouts and here you go! First up is another Unity page...this one was lots of fun to make! I started again with the new Our Lives, Our Stories kit that I borrowed (I sooooo have to buy this one!!) The memories title was embossed, as was the rememeber happiness quote (from a KOM).
I stamped the half-frame checkerboard around this and butted it up to the pp strip. Owl and mushroom are from one of the KOM as is the scroll in the bottom corner. I added some dew drops around the swirl and to all the scallops on the border (this started as a whole piece of edged cs from Bazzill) More dew drops in the centers of the primas.
The owl journaling piece as well as the pull are from the OLOS kit.
When you pull on the pull tab, it reveals the hidden journaling underneath.
Supplies: Stamps: Our Lives, Our Stories; Remember HApiness; Its the Little Things; (Unity) Paper: Sassafras Lass & Bazill Ink: Palette Burnt Umber; kraft Vanilla, choc chip (SU!) Accessories: clear EP, cowboy & flame dewdrops; primas, copics, round tab punch
One more for you...this was for 2 of last weeks challenges on Splitcoast Stampers but I didn't get it finalized til this week. The color challenge was Riding Hood Red, Taken with Teal and Baja Breeze. Also the Scrapbook Variety challenge was to use LOTS of brads!
Supplies:
Stamps: Worn Polka dot alphabet; Circle of Thanks; amazing Me (Unity); Vintage Pop alphabet (Pink Paislee)
Paper: RHR, Taken with Teal, Baja Breeze, white (SU!)
Ink: Palette Noir; Teal, RHR (SU!)
Accessories: Curvy Cutter (EK Success); brads (Bazzill, American Crafts, Making Memories, Doodlebug); ribbon (SU!); pop dots
Thats it for tonight! Have a great evening and thanks for the visit! -Cyndi

Helloooooo! I am still here! I have picked up way too many extra hours at work lately and have had very little stamping or blogging time :( BUT, I took the whole day today and created some layouts!!
I'll show you 2 tonight, then save more for the next couple of days:) The first up is using new Unity stamps that I borrowed from my friend Heather...I really want this kit, but I have been seriously having to behave on the extra money lately. The "the details" stamp is from this new scrappy AWESOME kit, Our Life, Our Stories...it turned out really cool looking on the textured cardstock I used.
The fabbo pattern paper is Pink Paislee...some bits left over of a couple of sheets I found somewhere online last year. This stuff is hard to find!
Here's a shot at the chick from "Hey Chick" (one of my all-time fav Unity kits), stamped in the frames from the July KOM...the LOVE stamp is from Love, Happiness, Miracles...and the "you" is from the same as the details stamp. I colored in the edges of the frames and the chicks with copics then added some stickles as well as some bking to the chick's tail feathers:)
Here's the trails of gems coming off some newish primas I stacked up...love the way that looks! The ribbon is old and from my stash...manufacturer unknown.
Supplies: Stamps: Hey Chick; July KO; Our Life, Our Stories; Love, Friendship, Miracles (Unity) Paper: Spring Fling (Pink Paislee); Bazzill cs Ink: Palette Burnt Umber Accessories: Fern Rhinestones (MaMBI), flowers (Prima); Frosted Lace stickles; scallop scissors; ribbon
One more for you tonight: this is more Pink Paislee paper (from an old kit from Mosh Posh)...this is one of my favorite lines that PP has put out...Vintage Moon...LOVE it!! Now I would just love to find the matching stamps!! I cut out the owl from the "Night Owl" paper then pieced him back together whilst popping up his head and wings.
Isn't he just stinkin' adorable?!! I added a bunch of primas to this layout too and some more bling. The frame around the photo is a Technique Tuesday tile. Its rubbed directly with Chestnut brown cats eye chalk then I stamped over that in Palette ink the paisleys and in vanilla kraft ink the flowers (both stamps are Pink Paislee from the set "Spring Fling".
The little birdie is also a stamp from that same set...I stamped it on the back of the pattern paper, then cut it out and flipped it over <wink>
The swirls are from a Unity Kit of the Month...July, I think.
Overall, I love how the page turned out...this is a pic of my youngest daughter Rachael and 2 friends from a recent school field trip to the Asheboro Zoo..."What a Hoot!!" (alphabet is Vintage Pop also from PP)
Supplies: Stamps: Vintage Pop alpha, Spring Fling (Pink Paislee); July KOM (Unity) Paper: Vintage Moon pp (Pink Paislee); Bazzill cs Ink: Palette Burnt Umber; Chestnut Brown cats eye (Colorbox); Vanilla kraft (SU!) Accessories: frame tiles (Technique Tuesday); flowers (Prima); gems (MaMBI); pop dots; ribbon (CTMH)
OK, thats it for tonight! Have a great rest of the weekend and thanks for hopping by!!

Happy Tuesday! Its a Unity kinda day, I am hanging out with me, my laptop, and some Blake Lewis on my ipod at the local Panera Bread. I have to say, I really prefer Starbuck's, but I have been having horrible internet problems there lately, so my venue has changed. Anywho... I have a couple of cards for you that I created over the weekend using the november Kit of the Month. If you haven't checked out the KOM's you need to RUN on over there...don't miss out...this one is already gone in store, but I haven't received Dec's yet.
This has got to be of my absolute favs yet!! I absolutely adore all the new images ...including new ones by fellow Unity addict Lisa Hetrick...go Lisa!! She has a whole new line over at Unity from November and December!! You can see the images HERE! I think the frame here was a Lindsay design, but the tree beow is a Lisa image :)
This frame is just soooo stinkin' cute!! Its all colored in with my copics, then I went back and hand-doodled some dots to match the outside of the frame around the border of my mat layers on the card.
Supplies: Stamps: November Kit of the Month (Unity) Paper: Sassafras Lass pp; White cs (PTI); black, Celery cs (SU!) Ink: Palette Noir Accessories: silver styled hodgepodge, label punch, scallop border punch, bl/white gingham ribbon (SU!); jumbo scallop scissor, black journaling pen, markers (Copic)
More images from the Nov kit...including Lisa's fabbo tree! I paper pieced the trunk with a distressed brown paper by Basic Grey...from the Urban Prairie pad...along with the strip on the card. (The sketch is from SCS a week or two back??)
OK, thats it for the morning...I have more later I hope:) Thanks for stopping in!
-Cyndi
Supplies: Stamps: Nov KOM (Unity) Paper: Urban Prairie (Basic Grey); baja Breeze cs (SU!); cream, chocolate cs (PTI) Ink: Palette Burnt Umber Accessories: wide organdy black ribbon (SU!); beetle black brads (Doodlebug); jumbo scallop scissor; markers (Copic)

Hip Hop! This weeks challenge to the Unity Junkies was from Joy Stagg...to create a scrapbook page! Not a prob! In fact I was so excited that I did this weeks challenge last week...oopps. So, I got to make another page for this week!
This is a pic that my 15 year old son took of Michael (my 5 year old) this summer when we all went to the Cherry Orchard. The black/white is even more phenomenal, but I wanted some color fpr this page cause I really wanted to use this paper I found in my stash for some reason. I know its not cherry relatd at all, but sometimes you just have to go with it, ya know??
I used LOTS of Unity kits for this one...
Distressed Dots, Best Friends, and 3 of the KOM...Enjoy your Story, Laugh; Friendship, Love, Miracles; and Its the Little Things. Do I get extra points for that?? hehe
Here's the first closeup...I stamped the "5 things" sentiment then directly below the bracket from one of the KOM, masking off the top and bottom of the stamp. I also added some Shimmerz paint to the deer's spots & nose, the 5 and the owl...but its kinda hard to see...its the pale tawny color, "Buttercream".
Heres another shot, but still hard to see all the shimmer:
Wanna play along with us this week? Head to the Unity forum at Splitcoast to check out the challenge and link up your creation! Plus look there for who is offering up some blog candy this week!
So, go head over to my sidebar----> and see what the rest of the group cooked up this week. Also head to the Unity blog today for a more complete list, Watch Out wednesday and of course tomorrow for Hip Hop Thursday's specials!! See you on the blog hop :)

I am an idiot! I read the challenges wrong forthe Unity Addicts group...I am a week ahead...urgh. So, no red and white card this week. But it looks like I have a random scrapbook page for you :)
{{Also...HIP HOP is a day early because of Thanksgiving...go check out the absolutely AWESOME sales at the Unity blog!! }}
This is an old pic that I love of my girls on the first day of school 2 years ago...I did pages for everyones book, but forgot that I had this enlarged print and wanted to do something with it. so, here we go!
I started with new paper from Creative Imaginations, some flowers from Prima, buttons from Autumn Leaves and bunch of Unity stamps! I used the newest Kit of the Month (Nov..."Enjoy YOUR STORY....laugh"...which is only available for a few more days!!) and Best Friends & Circle of Thanks kits. Closeups are below.
I used the cute new journal stamp from the KOM and inked the edge to decorate my title strip with. This was stamped on Basic Grey PP and colored with copics, and guess what? They didn't run at all!! Cool :)
Oh, yeah, the velvet ribbon is from my stash from some scrapbook kit from a few years back.
Here are the circles from Circle of Thanks...great for journaling, but I also used one as an anchor for some of my flowers. Added a "laugh" sentiment as well, also from the Nov kit of the Month.
Don't forget to head to the Unity blog to start HIP HOP Thursday, and also Angela is doing ANOTHER DT call!! Details there :)
Happy Turkey day! Peeks for All That Scraps will begin tomorrow!! -Cyndi

Its Wednesday, which means its time for another installment of the Unity Addicts Challenge. This week Michelle Shuman picked our challenge and it is an inspiration challenge with some gorgeous bedding. To see the photo and to get the details if you want to join us, check out THIS THREAD in the Unity forum on SCS.
For my card I went mainly with the colors. I interpreted them as Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, and Chocolate Chip. I also wanted to mimic the background of the comforter in its symmetry of swirls, so I used the snowflake from Unity's September Kit of the Month.
I stamped them in Baja, then rock-n-rolled them with Pacific. Then finally added some Celery shimmerz to each one. The entire scallop border has been painted with the same shimmerz.
This is totally out of my normal style, but sometimes we have to challenge ourselves, right? Thanks for hopping by my blog today. Be sure to check out the other Unity addicts' blogs-----> over there in the sidebar. -Cyndi
Supplies: Stamps: Friendship, Love, Miracles (Unity) Paper: Chocolate (PTI); Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss (SU!) Ink: Baja Breeze, Pacific Point (SU!) Accessories: scallop border punch, square scallop punch, 1.25" square punch, chocolate satin ribbon, dauber (SU!); Celery paint (Shimmerz), Dbl end tag die (Spellbinders); square ice rhinestones (SU!)

First up: Today is the last chance at my All That Scraps blog candy from a Friday: go to the Preview Review post to read the details and to leave a comment! I will draw a name by 9pm EST tonight :)
Next, I have a couple of Unity cards for you today. The first is using the October Kit of the Month and I used a sketch by ...a challenge over at the Mother and Daughter Creations Blog from last week. I used my new Labels die from Spellninders for the 3 panels and used my Prismacolors for the image. Flowers are by Fancy Pants. PP is Basic Grey.
Next is my card from last weeks Unity addicts' Wednesday challenge...a kids card with yellow, blue, and red... a challnge from Tanis. I stuggled with this a bit but ended up using images from Unity Best Friends, Floral Fantastical, and Spring in the Mail. Again I used my new Labels 1 Nestabilities and also the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder...colors are SU!: Pacific Point, Summer Sun, and Riding Hood Red.
Thats it for this afternoon! Tomorrow is the Unity Addicts challenge again so stay tuned!

Its Wednesday and time for another UnityAddicts challenge! This week our challenger picker extraordinaire was Lisa Hetrick and she chose an inspiration challenge with some to die for plates! You can view the photo of the plates and the details for the challenge at the Unity SCS forum...please join us! In the meantime, my eye candy for you is below and if you want to do a bit of blog hopping go visit my fellow Unity addicts at their blogs---->on the right sidebar!
Here is what I came up with using the blue peacock looking plate as inspiration. The feathers reminded me of the leaves from the Unity set Floral Fantastical, and then I added some flowers from the same set where the puffs were on the plate. I stuck somewhat close to the colors, but really wanted to use my Shimmerz paints to imitate the shiny enamel of the plates, so I colored the leaves, flowers, and butterfly all with Celery and Buttercream Shimmerz....so pretty!! (Everything was colored before I added the Simmerz with my Prismacolor pencils to add some depth and contrast)
My butterfly needed a bit of somun-someun, so I gave her a trail using my paper-piercing tool and mat, then added a bit more of the piercing in the lower corner. More coming at you later today...so check back! And don't forget that tomorrow is HIP HOP Thursday, starting at the Unity blog :) Happy Hump Day! -Cyndi
Supplies: Stamps: Floral Fantastical (Unity) Paper: Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Pacific Point (SU!); white (PTI) Ink: Palette Noir; Pacific Point (SU!) Accessories: double end tag die (SPellbinders) ; Doodlie-doo brad (SEI); paper piercer & mat, olive ribbon (SU!); Prismacolor pencils; baby oil; blending stump; Celery & Buttercream paint (Shimmerz)

Hey fellow Unity addicts! It was my week to issue the challnge and it appears I made it a bit hard, hehe. But I wanted evryone to be CHALLENGED and to have to think.
Since we are still in October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, I wanted to issue a HOPE challenge...
H: Use a sentiment having to do with HOPE
O: Put some ribbon ON your card
P: Use soemthing PINK
E: Embellish with something beginning with an M...so you will remember to get your MAMMOGRAM.
So here is what I ended up with...its a bit on the pastel side for me, but I am just furthur challenging myself, right? If you want to play along with us this week...head to the Unity forum at Splitcoast Stampers and check out the challenge thread and link up your creation there. also be sure to check out the blogs of my fellow Unity Junkies today....the list of links is -----> over there in my right hand side bar!
For my card...I used the word HOPE, lots of pink and ribbon and my M embellishment that I had to remember to add was metal...the silver label holder. There is also a ton of sparkle on the card but of course its hard to see! All images are from my all time favorite Unity set....Floral Fantastical!
Supplies: Stamps: Floral Fantastical (Unity) Paper: Petals & Paisleys PP, Cool Carribean, Whisper White (SU!) Ink: Palette Noir Accessories: Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders); Styled silver Hodgepodge, label punch, ribbon (SU!); markers (Copic); Fruit Punch, Eucalyptus, Waterfall glitter (Stickles), Christmas sugar coated brads (Doddlebug); Prima flower Here's another Unity card for you ...this was actually the orignal inspiration for my challenge as I was working on it last week for the SCS color challenge. (I cheated a bit on the color combo though...it was supposed to be Kiwi Kiss...but I wanted to use one of the million carousel notes that I have lying around!) Thanks for hopping by my blog today! Have a happy Hump Day and see you at the HIP HOP tomorrow :) -Cyndi
Supplies: Stamps: Believe (Unity) Paper: Pink Pirouette cs, white cs, Bella Rose PP, Wild Wasabi carousel note (SU!) Ink: Chocolate Chip,Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi (SU!) Accessories: Positively Pink marker (SU!); G24 copic marker; Leafy Branch embossing folder (Cuttlebug); pink tafetta (SU!); Frosted Lace stickles; scallop border punch

Yo! S'up?!! I am here...I did not die...I did not run away...and I didn't kill my laptop. The Scrapbook Fundraiser usually gets the best of me for a few days, but my house was in desparate need of some cleaning and I also can;t seem to find my mojo. Has anyone seen it? Maybe its because I cleaned up my desk??
Seriously...I got an email from one of my BFFs today whom I would never know checks in on the blog if she didn't tell me...she wanted to know if I had disappeared into a book. I did finish the Twilight series a week or two ago....have since reread Eragon and and almost finished rereading Eldest so that I can start Brisingr. I have been looking forward to this book for like 2 years so I hope to read slow and savor it (yeah, right)
Anywho, I am way behind on blogging, reading my blogging bud's latest and of course I am behind on stamping. I thought I would jump in today with a Preveiw Review for CC Designs...I didn't get it done in time for the list on the ATS blog...but here it is anyway. I also have a Unity card for you down below!
Here is Christmas Christopher in his snugglie pjs...too cute!! I love these kinds of pjs, but sadly my kids are all like me and can't stand their feet bunlded up! Christopher (and Olivia) are sold as singles and the background elements are from the Sugarplums Christmas Scenery set. The sentiment is from one of last years sets....Lucky's Christmas Wish.
I also used some of the new BIG dress It Up Glitter dots that Christine just got in at All That Scraps, as well as new KI Memories paper (also from ATS)....and my new Shimmerz paint on the flames!!
Supplies: Stamps: Christmas Christopher, Lucky's Christmas Wish, Sugarplums Christmas Scenery (CC Designs) Paper: Festive PP (KI Memories); Riding Hood Red, White, Olive (SU!) Ink: Palette Noir Accessories: Key Tag punch, Red tafetta (SU!); Christmas Ornaments embossing folder (Cuttlebug); Big glitter Dots (Dress it Up); markers (Copic); Buttercream paint (Shimmerz); Striped ribbon (May Arts)
And one more for you for today...I uploaded this at SCS but never here, sorry! This uses the Sept Kit of the Month from Unity, the sentiment is from Floral Fantastical.
I hope to find some stamping time this afternoon! Have a great Friday:) -Cyndi

***Post 2 of 2 for the day***
Happy Hump Day fellow Unity Junkies!! This weeks Wednesday challenge picker was Maggie! She chose a cute sketch for us to work with...if you want to play along check out the thread (and the sketch) in the Unity forum at Splitcoast Stampers!
I chose Trick-or-Treat Peeps cause I think they are so stinkin' cute! This was also one of the fun kits I got to preview last month while being the Unity Guest Designer for September...I had some samples from this on the unity blog...I'll share them one day this month if you didn't ever hop over to see them!
Anywho, I pulled out this fun new paper I picked up at one of my LSS...Its by Creative Imagination. I liked it cause the colors are a bit different and the pattern is fun and kid-like which is perfect with these images:) I stamped the images on PTI White, used my copics for coloring, then added some doodles to the border. Pretty straight-forward...no techniques or sparkles or Cutttlebug...or anything...gasp!
don't miss out on all the FAB eye candy today from the other Unity Addicts...their blogs are listed over---> there to the right on my sidebar...have a bit of a blog hoppin' good time! Cyndi is over and out!!
Supplies: Stamps: Trick or Treat Peeps (Unity) Paper: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise (SU!); Creative Imagination PP Ink: Palette Noir Accessories: BB buttons (SU!); scallop scissors; markers (Copic); ribbon (Michael's)

Happy Autumn! It does feel like it is really finally here...my favorite time of year!! I love the breeze, the smell, and the colors! Since I was in such an autumny mood...I thought I would pull back out my Sassafras lass papers and this gorgeous mini tree from the September Unity Kit of the Month.
Today is the last day of September...the last day that you can order this Kit, and the last day of my Guest Designer spot with Unity. It has been such a fun month I can't even begin to tell you...I absolutely adore Unity...the stamps and the service and the owner...sweet Angela...but I have also had a blast getting to know more of the fantastically talented and fun Design Team this month...as well as more Unity customer addicts like myself through the blog hops and Hip Hop parties. It has just been an incredible month! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Angela and Chris for your generosity and to Angela and AJ for your belief in me and to all the other amazing Unity Rock Stars for welcoming me into your family this month!
OK, no more sap...must be the mood I'm in after finishing the Twilight saga last night (Thanks to my Unity peeps for steering me to this...I should begrudge you all for my serious lack of sleep the last couple of weeks...but thats just my addictive nature so I can't blame it on you)
So...wanna know about the card? Its based on Beate's WSC59...pretty fun sketch! As I said, I used the tree from the September Kit of the Month: Friendship, Love, Miracles. I added a few dew drops to the swirling leaves, distressed it a bit...and voila! Pretty fast card for me! The sentiment is from the same kit...I punched it out with the large SU! oval punch and tucked it under a layer. Supplies are listed below!
Ok, so now some housekeeping! Check out the Unity blog today for a fabulous 25% off end of the month sale!! I will be staring previews for All That Scraps this Friday...you don't want to miss the new SURPRISES!! Have a great day! I will try not to be too scarce in the next couple of weeks...the next Annual Fall Fundraiser is creeping up in a little over a week...so bear with me if I don't post every day!
-Cyndi

Happy Friday!! I am back to doing Festive Friday...at least for now:) This week I am featuring Unity stamps again! (If you haven't been to the UNity blogtoday go check it out...I am the Feature Friday post there...my last FF of my Guest Design term) Yesterday was HIP HOP Thursday...lots of fun in the forum last night! and I promised more samples with the September Kit of the Month today...so here you go!
My first card is also for this weeks sketch challenge on SCS. I inked up the beautiful angel in this months kit...Friendship, Love, Miracles. She is just gorgeous! I colored her with my copics then added a bit of sparkle with some stickles to her wings and flourishes. The peace sentiment is from the Birds of a Feather Unity set...I love that there are SO many sentiment choices in that kit!
Also note the pretty scallop border to the left of the angel? Thats in the month KOM also:)
Supplies: Stamps: Friendship, Love, Miracles KOM, Birds of a Feather (Unity) Paper: Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red cs, Bella Rose PP (SU!); white cs (Papertrey) Ink: Palette Noir; Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red (SU!) Accessories: Flame dew drops; Frosted Lace stickles; markers (copic); flower (Fancy Pants); red tafetta (SU!); button (SU!); sponge
My other card is also on the Unity blogtoday...but I couldn't resist...it is perfect for Festive Friday, but I also wanted to send it to Angela...
This is a kick-stand card:) The reindeer is now available as a single cassette but I purchased it in the Christmas Joy kit (I think thats still available as a kit??) I stamped him on Kraft cs then colored him & cut him out. Don't you just love the cute Jingle bell I tied on his ribbon?? Don't know how that will be in the mail (rolling eyes) but I think its so cute!!
I paper pieced his "saddle blanket" with the Bella Rose PP that is alo on the card inside. The sentiment is actually two different stamps from the Birds of a Feather kit...one is simply cheer...the other is Merry Christmas and I masked off the Merry with a bit of scotch tape magic:) I also finally used one of my new Cuttlebug folders that I ordered from All That Scraps...I think its called Snow dots?? Here is the side view of the card so you can see how it opens:
Thats it for this morning! I have GOT to get back to my house after a crazy week of stamping and blog hopping!! Have a great weekend...and please say hi! -Cyndi

Hey fellow Unityaddicts! This weeks challenge was issued by Sherry...paper piecing!! Not a problem...this is something that I love to do. I did find that I didn't have that many outline images from Unity that were big enough to piece (and still retain a bit of my eyesight) so I chose the mini-Giggle Grove trees from the September Kit of the Month, Friendship, Love, Miracles.
Even though they are small, they turned out pretty cute! I stamped the row of trees on my white cardstock, then again on 4 different patterns from the Basic Grey Phoebe line. Pretty funky colored trees,eh? The sentiment is also from the same KOM...and it will be GONE at the end of September so get it while you can!!
When we were chatting about the challenge, someone mis-typed piecing to "piercing"...easy enough mistake?? So a lot of us I think added the piercing in too, LOL. Check out the list on the right sidebar for the other Unity Addicts' blogs---->
Thanks for hopping by today...don't forget...tomorrow brings the Unity Hip Hop Thursday craziness, new Unity releases, and a new CC Designs release...so get ready for a wild day of preveiw parties! -Cyndi
Supplies:
Stamps: Friendship, Love, Miracles KOM (Unity)
Paper: White, Chocolate (Papertrey); Phoebe PP (Basic Grey)
Ink: Palette Noir
Accessories: Paper piercing tool & mat (SU!); buttons (My Minds Eye); Aqua Mist ribbon (Papertrey)

Angela challenged everyone to CASE the newsest Dirty girl Jennifer Buck (one of the Unity DT) this week! She has an amazing gallery and it was hard to pick one, but I finally chose this card because I love those little birds so much! Happy Thursday! Are you ready to have a Hip Hoppin' great time today? If you're heading here from Jennifer's blog then keep on reading... if not, head over to the Unity blog to start the Blog hop and search for Blog candy!! (And also to get a peek at new releases and specials!!) When you are done with all that don't forget to come over to the Splitcoast Stampers Unity forum to join in on the chatting, challenges, fun and of course FREE stamps!!
But first, I have some eye candy for you! First up is a card for this weeks sketch challenge...this was a really awesome sketch! I used the Unity Believe set for almost all the stamping...except the sentiment...all the background pieces are stamped and not PP...amazing for me, eh? I also had to add that extra bit of black to make the card pop...not only in my layers and ribbon (do you like my stems and leaves??) but I doodled around the layers and the flowers to unify the images.
Supplies:
Stamps: Believe, Floral Fantastical (Unity)
Paper: Kiwi, Hollyhock, Blush (CTMH); White, Black (SU!)
Ink: Kiwi, Hollyhock, Blush (CTMH); palette noir
Accessories: buttons (CTMH); black/white gingham (SU!); black journaling marker
Next up...my card for this weeks color challenge...Riding Hood Red, Basic Gray, and Always Artichoke...very similar to last weeks...and I will say a bit easier except I really don't like the Artichoke with the Gray. Overall I think it turned out ok. Its hard to see but I ran the Artichoke piece through my Cuttlebug with the Leafy Branch folder...one of the many new ones I got a couple of weeks back :)
The tree and the sentiment are both from Unity Kits of the Month...one from July, one from August...these are limited editions and I TOTALLY recommend getting on the autoship for these so you don't miss out!! I am waiting for Septmebers now...hopefully any day...HIP HOP!
Supplies:
Stamps: KOM (Unity)
Paper: Always Artichoke, Riding Hodd Red, Basic Gray (SU!); White (PTI)
Ink: Palette Noir
Accessories: Leafy Branch embossing folder (Cuttlebug); Styled Silver Hodgepodge, designer label punch (SU!); Riding Hodd Red tafetta ribbon (SU!)
OK, So now head over to my gal Linsey's totally incredible Blog...she will have something unbelievable for you I am sure! Have a great Hip Hop!! Thanks for stopping by!

I followed Beate's WSC for the layout. The stamp is one of my favs by Unity....Hey Chick! She is fun to color and add gems and glitter to make her really flaunt her tail feathers! For this one I dressed her up with some Fruit Punch stickles :)
Have fun doing the hop! And I will have another challenge post in about an hour or two for ATS so check back! -Cyndi

Happy Sunday! Sorry for no post yesterday...it was the closing pool party for the neighborhood...and it was also the first day the pool was actually open this week with all the rain!!
So, today I have a few for you...all using the Unityset Diva-lish! The first is one I did for fun yesterday with this weeks SCS color challenge...Riding Hood Red, Going Gray, and Green Galore...it was a bit of a challenge but this is what I finally came up with:)
I also used the Distressed dots background (also from Unity) that I have been wanting for like forever and finally broke down and got last week...love it!!
Also...I had a couple of cards that posted on Feature Friday at the Unity blog last week and I didn't post here yet...both using the same set...so I'll show you those today as well.
Both of these next cards also use the SEI Black Orchid papers. The first I added some gemstones from MaMBI and some ribbon and silver cording.
The next card is the same Divi-lish set, but also uses "Shopaholic" (also from Unity). I added some glimmer to the shoes with a clearStardust Gelly Roll pen I got from All That Scraps. The rhinestone brads are from SU!) and the ribbon is SEI self-adhesive ribbon.
Thats it for now ladies...I may have more later?! Thanks for visiting... -Cyndi

WOW! What a long week it has been...my washer decided to stop working last week...with 4 kids that is NO FUN!! a week later, a pointless service call, and some shopping, I have a new one...yipee!! and now I am trudging through the PILES... I didn;t get to do a ton of Hip-hopping yesterday, :( but I did hop through a bit!!
In the meantime...stamping cannot wait! I have a sample for you today that is a bit out of my style, but hey, a girl has to try something new, right??
I used one of the new singles from Unity by Jessica Rose...Love Bulids a Home. I just love her style..very fun and fresh! But I wanted a bit of a rustic look for my little cabin so I pulled out my new Mr Campy from Cosmo Cricket :) Just right! I cute the frame with my rectangle nesties, then popped it up on another layer of the same pattern to give it a real framed look...I think it turned out pretty cool!
Supplies:
Stamps: Love Builds a Home (Unity)
Paper: My Campy (Cosmo Cricket); Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red (SU!)
Ink: Palette Noir
Accessories: rectangles nestabilities (Spellbinders); markrs (Copic); buttons (Autumn Leaves); hemp; dimensionals; Choc wide grosgrain
Thanks for stopping in! Have a happy weekend! -Cyndi

ETA: Angela has offered BLOG CANDY once again!! (The single Joy stamp from the card below) I am closing off the entries as of tonight (Friday) at midnight central time :) Good luck!! And the winner from Monday's Tiny Trinity giveaway is Sara Henton!!
OK, so everyone seems to be doing Festive Friday...lets get going early on those Christmas cards and projects that we all love to make but seem to put off til the absolute last minute...I know I am NOT alone in this!! So I am jumping on the Festive Friday bandwagon and we'll see how it goes:)
But first, a bit of Housekeeping: the preview for the 3 new CC DesignsHalloween sets start tomorrow...and you do NOT want to miss those...these sets are all run to the mailbox squeelin' cute!! We will feature one set each day for the next 3 days, then end with a party in the ATS fourm on Tuesday night!!
AND, if thats not enough, have you seen that Amy Rysavyhas her own line of stamps now?? They are being released by CC Designs, so that means I get to preview those for you too!! Yippee skippee!! Look out for that on Sunday! But in the meantime click on Amy's name above for a peek today!
Today I am featuring a set from Unity Stamp Co since I am the September Guest Designer, can I get a HIP HOP??!! This is one of my favorite sets (do I say that about all the Unity sets?)...Christmas Joy...a set of 5 adorable images that are so much bigger than they seem (hint: look at the measurements on each stamp on the web page) and they are so fun to color! Terrific for cards, or a scrapbook page! So I have one of each for you today :)
This stamp is probably my favorite image in the set...great for adding lots of sparkle and bling!! I wanted some non-traditional colors today though so I pulled out my old Christmas paper from SU! last year and borrowed those colors: Sage, Celery, Soft Sky, and Artichoke.
I stamped the joy in Palette Noir onto Papertrey White and then used my Circle nesties to emboss only the circle size that I wanted. Then I went over the embossed line with a circle coluzzle template and cut just the part where the word was not. after trimming that out, I mounted it on some circles cut with the next size circle nesties:) cool, huh?
Its colored with a mix of mainly copics, but I needed a touch of the artichoke so I had to pull out an SU! marker for that. Then I went back with Frosted Lace Stickles and jazzed up the dots and berries and ornament top...even the highlighted line on the candy cane "y". Enlarge the image by clicking directly on it and its easier to see the shimmer, but I will also include a closeup pic here:
Pretty cool, huh? I am such a braggart today, sorry. It must be the leftover giddy mood from yesterdays Hip Hop!!
The ribbon at the top is all from Stampin' Up!: Certainly Celery wide, narrow Always artichoke, and Soft Sky double stitched (retired). I then added a snowflake brad that is wrapped around the knot:)
Before I show you the page, I wanted to add... head over to the Unity blogfor more samples from me today...including a cool 6x12 page that I made! What is that you say? Something new and trendy...I was at Patter's sketch blog last week and saw this size layout and it just spoke to me, KWIM??
ALSO: Yesterday I know I added that Unity was supporting a cause with the Hip Hop Thursday orders..but guess what? Angela hopes to do a new cause EVERY week!! I am so blessed to be a part of the Unity family this month! Unity is such a caring and loving group!! If you still want to give to Operation Jonathan...head HERE to donate and to read the details. don't know how long the donation button will be there, but it still is as of lunch Friday:)
OK, sorry to be so long-winded today! On to the page: This came about as a CASE of one of my own cards that I wanted to turn into a scrapbook page. Same set as above, different colors.
This time though I used eh holly, tree, and ornament. (Again you can click on the pic to get a closer image) The borders are cut with jumbo scallop scissors...before I got that AWESOME new scallop border punch from SU! The "believe" stamp is another fav...just can't use it on EVERY page, now can I?? The stamp kit is also from Unity called Believe...gorgeous font isn't it?!!
OK, so I guess I need to quit typing so I can get some more stamping done! Thanks for popping in today! Have a great weekend :)

HIP HOP!! What day is it???? Hip Hip Thursday of course...and I get to play along this week in the Unity blog hop!! If you stumbled straight to my blog, back up and head over to Angela's first to follow the blog-hoppin' trail all the way to the FREE stamps!! If you hopped to me from Patter's blog, then keep on reading!
Do you want the specials first or the eye candy? We'll start with the cards first! I have 2 for you today...one features a stamp from Simple Pleasures, one of the featured kit specials this week!
I stamped the cake on Papertrey select white cs, then colored it in with my handy-dandy copics! I have been reading tons of tips from the copic lady and trying to practice more, but what I wouldn't give for a copic certification class to come to NC!! The shadow at the base of the cake plate is an A Muse oval stamp, stamped off in Sahara Sand ink, which perfectly matches copic W1 :) And I absolutely ADORE this yummy new paper by Sassafras Lass that I bought last week from All That Scraps...one of my new favorite color combos of orange and turquoise...mmm! The scallop border is actually the border from along the piece of cs, I just cut it into a small piece and used it as is!
Supplies:
Stamps: Simple Pleasures, Remember Happiness (Unity), small oval (A Muse)
Paper: Kraft, Dark Chocolate, White (Papertrey); Soft Sky (SU!); Sassafras Lass PP
Ink: palette Burnt Umber
Accessories: Swiss dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug); oval frame (SU!); jumbo brads (American Crafts); markers (Copic); Kraft tafetta ribbon, Oval punch (SU!)
Next up, I made this little birthday card for a sweet little 3 year old Isabelle, granddaughter of one of my BFFs. (I am having a thing for sweets today huh? Sorry...must be PMS)
This fun little yummy number is from Cupcakes A'La Yummy. There are 3 of the MOST adorable ever cupcakes in that set plus a handful of fun sentiments of course:) I used the one that says" Hey There Cupcake" but its kinda hard to see the pale color in the photo.
I cuttlebugged the soft sky piece once again wth Swiss Dots (I swear I have tons of folders...its just my fav!!) BUT I did pull out one of brand spankin' new cuttlebug borders for the bottom of the card: Frills :) very fun for a girlie card! I touched over the dots around the scallops with a turquoise copic to pull it out a bit. My cuppycake was punched with a 1 3/8" cirlce punch then matted on rose red with the scallop circle punch...I also added a touch of glaze to the cherry to make it really yummy looking!
Supplies:
Stamps: Cupcakes A'La Yummy (Unity)
Paper: Floral PP (The Paper Patch); White cs (Papertrey); Rose Red, Apricot Appeal, Soft Sky (SU!)
Ink: Palette Noir
Accessories: Swiss dots fembossing folder, Frills embossing border folder (Cuttlebug); Circle punch, Scallop punch , key tag punch (SU!); markers (copic); white grosgrain (Michael's); glaze pen (Sakura)

I am back with the second week in our new Unity Addicts' blog challenge! This week Cat picked our challenge...to create a project with Unity's colors, plus we could add one:) I chose one of my favorite "old" stamps from Unity...Best Friends! I picked this set up in one of Angela's first Random specials and I still adore it!! I stamped the flower 2 times: once on Tempting Turquoise, once on Old Olive, and fianlly on Close to Cocoa. Then I sponged all the edges, pieced the flower back together and added some random white dots here and there to all the pieces.
The "hi"sentiment is from another of my Unity favs: Floral Fantastical. I stamped it with Turquoise on Turquoise cs then cut around the letters a bit. The bottom line of dots is also in the Best Friends kit. And...I actually pulled out the sewing machine for this one...gasp!! I bought a cute little pack of different colored thread at Joanne's the other day...I was getting sick of just white and ivory...and that Turquoise thread really adds to it:)
So, take a sec out of your busy day and go hop through all the blogs of my fellow Unity junkies...the links are listed------> over there in the right column of my sidebar! Do you wanna play along with us? Check out the thread in the SCS Unity forum...and post a link to your project!
Also, don't forget tomorrow is HIP HOP Thursday at Unity and I get to play this week since I'm the September GD...HIP HOP!! Start over at the Unity blog at 10am central and follow the hop from there:)
Thanks for stopping in! -Cyndi

Happy September! What's so happy about it besides the never-ending heat?? Well, I'll give you a hint: HIP HOP!! But, you came to see cards first, right??
First up today is my submission for Jen del Muro's SFYTT this week. I absolutely adore her sketches but haven't played along in a while...so I was happy when this one came together over the weekend! I also got to play with my new Hawaii Papaya DSP from SU! and that made me happy too...I am in LOVE with Kiwi Kiss and Tangerine Tango, and this paper is just super yummy!
I picked out Tiny Trinity, one of my newer sets from Unity. Its a small set, but full of style and potential...the little trio of trees are all so funky and fun! I had to really play with my copics to get the right match for Kiwi and Tangerine...but mixing those babies is another fun thing! If you look below the trees you'll see that I again used my favorite new "grass" or ground stamp by Unity....the swirl on the journaling stamp from the July Kit of the Month. I am just addicted to it, bwahahaha!
So, are you guessing what my news may be yet? It has to do with the month of Septmeber...HIP HOP! On to the next card first though.
Here's another card from a Jen SFYTT...but this one is from months ago. I posted it to SCS, but realized that it never made an appearance here on my blog. (Funny, its usually the other way around)
I love the way the colors turned out on this one! I used the SEI Black Orchid paper pad for the teal and lime green. The flowers are from my very first Unity set ever....Flirty Flowers. Its still one of my favs (but are there any Unity sets that I don't love....hmm, nope!) I stamped the image in Versamark, embossed it with white EP, then used my sponge daubers to go over each flower. I finally added a touch of black pen here and there to help them stand out a bit and to pull in the black from the mats and ribbon. And you know me, it just has to pop somehow, yeah? And what better way than to add a touch of black and white to any bright color combo!
So have you guessed yet? You should have with all these hints! I was asked to be the Guest Designer for Unity for the month of September!! Can I get a HIP HOP!! If you're a regular here you know that I have become a Unity addict! I love the stamps, the DT, the forum at SCS, the other addicts, and of course the source of all the Unity happiness, Angela and her man Chris! You guys rock and I am so happy to be a part of the Unity family for this month!! Thanks for having me :)

Ever since I first saw this Charlotte image from Whiff of Joy, I kept thinking I could make her into a Halloween Charlotte, complete with black cat and all! Well, turning her toboggan into a witches hat didn't really work out, so I just dressed her for a nice chilly day going to the pumpkin patch instead.
She is stamped onto Papertrey white, then I pieced her hat with the same PP I used for the background...then added a pumpkin over the fur muff (I hand drew that baby believe it or not) and the cat I decided should be gray instead of black since all 4 of my cats are some shade of gray:) Yes, I really have 4 cats...and my DD has 3 hamsters...
The grass is from the CC Designs latest release of Sugarplums Scenery. Lots of really fun pieces for all sorts of scenes you might want to create so that your characters aren't standing in an open space with no ground, or nothing in the air. The sentiment is 2 separate words from a Unity set...Birds of a Feather...it has tons of single words in it...so cool so you can put together your own phrase!!
The sketch is from Katharina's blog Creative Ideas by Katharina...I thought that was very fitting since she does own the Whiff of Joy line. And have you heard, the NEW "Willow & Oakley" and "Guardian Angel" lines will be released at Whiff of Joy next Wednesday! Can't wait!!
Tata for the evening! I have been busy today doing some stamping for stuff next week...so lots to post soon:) Have a great long weekend! -Cyndi

The blue tag...no idea where its from...I got it in a kit ages ago...its actually transluscent but it went with the color scheme perfecto!

I have been doing some stamping the last couple of days...but I can't show it all to you yet! For now...here's a card I did for 2 challenges (well, really 3). I used the color combo from Our Creative Corner this week (Old Olive, Ruby Red, Pumkpin Pie, and Chocolate Chip)...although I did tweak it a bit adding a LOT of black to the mix. And the sketch is last weeks SCS...SC190. The third challenge is in the Unity forum to do the SCS challenges using Unity stamps then upload them before Hip Hop Thursday...so 1 down for that one too! I am just a challenge mad woman today...bwahahaha...
The {iheartu} is from Unity's newest Kit of the Month for August..."Remember Happiness" and the owl is from last months..."Its the Little Things". These KOM have got to be some of my favs that Unity has releases of all their kits, but remember...you goatta get it while its here...LIMITED EDITION...August's kit is only around for 1 more week...What are you waiting for?? Go shop!

Flaunt it chickie! She is just strutting her stuff...I love her! This is one of the adorable and hip chicks from the Unity set "Hey Chicky". I thought she would be gorgeous in the regal tones that were last weeks SCS color challenge (here we go again a week late with the challenges!). But I have always loved these dark yet bright colors together...Teal, Eggplant and Olive...right down my alley!!
The layout is based on Lauren's sketch from Saturday...I just flipped it backwards! The swirl on the sqaures and the swirly "grass" are both created with the top corner of the journaling stamp from the Unity July Kit of the Month "Its the Little Things". I also added a bunch of little white dots to the square and the inside of the flowers on the PP circle. The cute littel gems are from my stash, maker unknown, but I think they may be Me&My Big Ideas.
Thats it for now...but I have lots of new rubbah in da house and I'm excited to play with it all!
Thanks for blurfing by chickies! -Cyndi
