We're back from California and I'm finally getting back into the groove. My house won't be ready for another week after anticipated so I feel like I'm in limbo, and thus in a bit of a funk. I need to get ready to plan pages for classes scheduled right after I move, but I keep staring at my studio, then walking away to pack some more.
I had a few things uploaded to put on the blog while in CA, but of course I never got around to it. We went for my hubby's annual conference and they always keep us hoping for 4+ days. This year was even worse (yet better!!) because he was up for a huge award. We got VIP treatment all week, limos, an awesome suite, and extra dinners and parties. So it turned into 6 full days of one event/party/meeting after another. Tons of fun but very exhausting! We stayed at the St. Regis Hotel and Spa in Laguna Niguel, talk about a beautiful hotel! I may have to post some pics from the trip later this week. In the meantime, since I obviously haven't been stamping, I will upload the samples I had ready to go for last week.
I put this layout together last week before I left. It may be my last for a while. Used:American Crafts Bookshelf Pattern paper, Fancy pants rubons, Foof-a-la buttons, and "Thickers" letter stickers (manf? can't remember, they are packed!) These are photos of my youngest with his cousin Adrian last spring.
The next layouts are from my youngest daughter's b-day last summer. We used one of the cool quizes from Simple Scrapbooks' Simple Layouts with Quizes and Questions. Its actually a combo of a coiple of the quizes and a few of my own questions. I asked each guest the same questions about the b-day girl, then asked her, then put them all onto the page. Originaly I had planned to do a flip tag-book, but after a few months of putting it off I decided to change it up and just mount my favorite responses. This is an assortment of some of the spreads from her book and my family book. Supplies used include Bazzill cardstock and Creative Imaginations paper, stickers, and punchouts.
