Gate Fold card Challenge

OK, so I haven't done a challenge in forever.  and even though I am trying to finish up other stuff I thought I would do the challenge on the InStyle Stamps blog...a Gate fold card.  Haven't done one of those in ages either.

So, I grabbed my Rainy Cynthia image from InStyle Stamps that I started coloring a while back.  I finished coloring her to match this newish paper from Cosmo Cricket.  The mushrooms are just perfect together  !I held the card closed by attaching the flower/button assembly only to the right panel so that the center panel "tucks" underneath and holds it all closed :)

Pretty cool, huh?  I also left the sentiment off cause I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it, so I will use it as a generic card later when I need one.

Ava with Flower

Good Morning!  I am still crazy busy with design work, but its almost ready to send in so I will have more time soon, I promise!  The problem is I have been stamping like crazy, but I can't show you any of it until January!

Luckily I have  a few things I created for work last week so I will share those!  Remember last week that I told you we got in a HUGE shipment of Magnolias at Enchanted Cottage?  Well, I got to stamp out some images to make samples with! 

Today I am showing you "Ava with Flower".  Is she not the cutest?  Ava is from last year's Magnolia Christmas collections.  She is colored in with my copics then cut out and mounted on a  red panel cut out with Labels 1 Nestabilites and then I ran that through my Cuttlebug with a QuicKutz embossing folder.  The paper is from Creative Imaginations.  The layout I cannot take credit for, it was a skecth that I had used before and I cased the layout from the previous card that I made so I don't remember the artist who came up with the sketch, sorry!OK, gotta skedaddle.  Almost time for work!  Have a great Monday :)

Heres another cute Anime digi image for you from InStyle Stamps.  This is Alyssa.  I kept wishing last year that someone would come up with some cute anime stamps...and voila!  InStyle has actually even launched a new kit of the month called Club Anime...go HERE and check it out!  Too totally cool!

For this card I used some old baseball paper from Reminisce.  The colors were pulled from that then colored with my copic markers.  She is cut out with Nestabilites Labels4 and the sentiment (stamps from Hero ARts) is cut with Ribbon Tag Trio, also by Spellbinders.

Thats it for tonight!  I am exhausted.  Nisey is out at work after surgery for a number of weeks.  Of course I volunteered for extra hours (need the money)  But I am soooo not used to working over 40 hours a week!  PLUS I have LOTS of fun top-secret design stuff I have been working on that you can't see for a while.  So, this was a bit of fun stamping tonight and I am off to get the little guy to bed then read a bit.

Short Stacks

A quick post for you before I head into work.  I am next door at the coffee shop savoring my Cinnabon Latte and yummy pumpkin muffin.  Looks like the cold weather is finally going to hit us head on.  'Bout time!

Here is a quick card I whipped up with the new "Short Stacks" clear set from Stampendous.  It has the most adorable combo of heads and bodies to mix and match for a bit of winter fun!  I paired these two with papers from My Minds Eye (Colorful  Christmas collection), added a bit of flocking (also by Stampendous) andsome gems.  The snowflakes were cut out with the Snowflakes 2 die from Spellbinders.

Greetings from Utah!

Good morning!   I am sitting out in beautiful Park City, Utah, home of some of the most beautiful ski resorts and olympic training facilities.  I was fortunate enough to be able to attend (at the last minute) a retailer retreat with QuicKutz this week since our store owner was unable to go.  It has been a FABULOUS 2 days of learning, creating, networking, and laughing!  QuicKutz is an amazing company with an incredible sales team!  And I have really enjoyed making lots of new friends from allover the US and Europe!

I will share some photos another day, but for now I am waiting on my shuttle to arrive so I thought I would post a quick hello!  It has been beautiful and snowy here, but alas I have to go home to warm weather again. Sigh.  Thanks to my faithful readers and sorry I don't have anything to share today.  -Cyndi

One for all

Arrrrgh matey!  This cute Changito was part of the new clear stamp combo of Stampendous Changito images for Halloween...called Changito Treato.   He's all decked out in his pirate gear to match the cute paper from My Mind's Eye Boo to You collection.

BTW, did you notice the new designer button on the top corner of my blog?  I was asked to help design for the new January catalog for Stampendous!  How cool!!  Everything is all top secret right now, but I will have much to show you from them at a future date!  But you know how much I love my Fluffles and Changito...we got in a huge new order of the holiday releases at work so I picked up quite a few!!

Changito is colored with copics then airbrushed while still in the Spellbinders label die (same treatment for the sentiment)  I added some new Halloween dew drops (love these cause they are opaque!) and a but of Bo Bunny ribbon.  The layout is based on Jen del Muro's SFYTT from last week.OK, bedtime for me!  I have a big day tomorrow, I'll tell you about it later :)

InStyle Stamps

Good morning on this bleary rainy Monday.  My one hope is that my daughter's tennis match will get postponed...otherwise my day is going to be oh so hectic.

Enough whining, on to the card.  This is a digital anime image that I downloaded from InStyle Stamps.  I got an email out of the blue from Virginia asking me to do some design work for her for CHA!  How cool is that?? 

AFter browsing through the website I went ahead and downloaded a few things to play with whole I wait for my design stuff to arrive.This one is called Mellie.  Isn't she sweet?  she is colored with copics to match some old Heidi Grace Halloween paper that was on my desk that day.  Nothing super fancy, but I do love those digi-images!  So easy to download, no storage, and you can make them any size you want!

Turkey? What Turkey?

This image totally cracks me up.  I mean, I love Fluffles, but this one just takes the cake.  Reminds me of Garfield scarfing down a whole lasagna.  So Fluffles is orange in honor of Garfield.  The images is "Fluffles Turkey" by Stampendous...one of this year's  newest holiday releases.

I made this card for Enchanted Cottage using papers from the Traveler collection by Little Yellow Bicycle.  The layout is based loosely on this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.   Fluffles is colored with copics then cut with a Labels 2 Nestabiltie from Spellbinders, then airbrushed while still in the die with my ABS1.
